In Erps-Kwerps (Kortenberg), we replaced an old boiler with a Buderus all-in-one air-to-water heat pump featuring an integrated 180 L domestic hot water tank and a built-in buffer tank — compact, affordable, and our best-selling solution.
The context
The customer wanted renewable heating and hot water without cluttering the boiler room. We removed the old boiler and old water heater and installed an all-in-one air-to-water heat pump. The project was carried out in Erps-Kwerps (Kortenberg).
The installed solution
- ✅ Buderus WLW176i-7 air-to-water heat pump (monobloc, natural R290 refrigerant, exceptionally quiet).
- ✅ Integrated 180 L domestic hot water tank: a generous hot-water reserve built right into the unit — the model's main asset.
- ✅ Built-in buffer tank as well: it ensures good water flow for the heat pump and limits start/stops, with no extra footprint.
- ✅ Compact solution: minimal footprint, simple and fast installation.
- ✅ Excellent value for money — the model we install most.
- ✅ Connected to the existing system, with removal of the old boiler and old water heater.

The benefits for the customer
- ✅ Renewable heating and hot water, in a single appliance.
- ✅ Space savings thanks to the all-in-one design.
- ✅ Simple installation and controlled cost.
- ✅ Eligible for subsidies (see below).
